Bali which is known for its breathtaking waterfalls, temples, beaches and rice terraces to mention only a few, has always been on my list of places to visit. Earlier this year, I closed my eyes and I made it happen. Needless to say I immediately fell in love with Bali. Aside from becoming a real spa “ho” with the endless spa treatments, this place has so much to offer in terms of things to see, do and experience AND it allows you to test your bargaining skills for all you shopaholics. I was really in my element, wearing short shorts, loose dresses with excessive pom poms, minimal make-up and embracing the au-natural hair. It made me wonder, has my home environment confined and restricted me or rather, have I become rigid because of my daily routine, work dress code and lifestyle. Ugh well that just sucks and if that is the case, don’t you wish you were on a permanent vacation? I certainly do…
These images were taken in the heart of Ubud at the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and the popular Bali Swings.
